Sony is set to launch a couple of new playstation 3 models with higher capacities. The reason for doing this is to accommodate the additional downloads that will be made available via the PlayStation network over the coming months.

The first version is the Sony PlayStation 160GB model. This particular model will be shipping worldwide within the next couple of days.

The second model is a larger 320GB PS3 that will be launched in September and will arrive at the same time as the Playstation Move.
